2022 Year in Review

2022 was another great year for Avcon Jet.

In summary, over the course of the past year we completed 15,000 flights and 20,000 flight hours. While our work throughout the year never slowed, our busiest seasons of the year remained the summer and holiday months. We welcomed more than 19,500 passengers aboard and carried them all over the world from Wolfs Fang Runway in Antarctica to Reykjavik, Iceland.

Our Aircraft Management Department also fared well this year with the phasing in of 11 new aircraft and a number of new charter fleet additions. The Avcon Jet team grew this year as well with the addition of 40 new team members to our Homebase in Vienna, Austria, and a number of additions from around the globe to our international flight crew.

One major highlight of our year was the launch of our third season of Antarctica missions. Beginning on December 13th, we successfully completed 7 round trips to the continent with our final trip concluding on January 11th of this year. We continue being a trusted partner of White Desert Antarctica and can’t wait for the start of our 4th season together this December.

We are very grateful for how the past year turned out and are looking forward to all the events and travels 2023 will bring.
