Avcon Jet Streamlines Operations with New One Ops:

Avcon Jet has reached another significant milestone with the successful completion of its One OPS project in collaboration with Austro Control. Following on from the One CAMO completion earlier this summer, this achievement further strengthens the company’s commitment to streamlined operations. The One OPS project consolidates the operational frameworks of Avcon Jet Austria, International Jet Management, and Jet 24 into a single system, making Avcon Jet the first business jet operator in Austria to implement this noteworthy change.

By bringing together the operations of three separate Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) into one unified framework, Avcon Jet enhances its efficiency, reduces redundancies, and increases operational flexibility. Previously, each AOC required independent processes, audits, and manuals, which created considerable administrative work. With the new system in place, these tasks are now integrated, offering significant improvements in both time and cost management.

A formal thank you meeting with Austro Control took place on the 3rd of October, marking the official completion of this process and highlighting the cooperation between Avcon Jet and the regulatory body.

Christian Hrauda, Avcon Jet’s Accountable Manager, expressed his gratitude for the accomplishment:

“We are extremely proud to have completed the One OPS project, which follows closely on the heels of our One CAMO completion this summer. This represents another step toward achieving streamlined and unified operations across our AOCs. I would like to extend my thanks to both our teams and Austro Control for their collaboration in making this possible.”

One of the major benefits of this One OPS project is a reduction in the number of audits required by Austro Control. Under the previous structure, each AOC had to undergo separate audits, consuming valuable time and resources. Now, with the new consolidated structure, Avcon Jet will face fewer audits, minimizing disruptions and enhancing workflow efficiency.

In addition, the need for multiple sets of manuals is eliminated. Previously, each AOC had its own set of manuals that required regular updating, adding to the administrative burden. With the One OPS system, Avcon Jet now maintains just a single set of manuals, resulting in substantial savings of time and resources.

Andreas Bierwirth, CEO of Avcon Jet, praised the team’s dedication and the partnership with Austro Control:

I want to thank everyone who played a part in completing both the One CAMO project in the summer and now the One OPS project. It’s a remarkable achievement that reflects the hard work and perseverance of our teams. We are also grateful to Austro Control for their invaluable guidance throughout the process. This completion marks a new phase of enhanced efficiency for Avcon Jet, allowing us to provide even better service to our clients.

By completing both the One CAMO and One OPS projects within the same year, Avcon Jet is now positioned as a leader in operational efficiency within the Austrian business aviation sector. These advancements will allow the company to expand its services, attract new clients, and continue providing world-class aviation solutions. Looking ahead, Avcon Jet plans to extend this unified approach across its European operations, further optimizing its processes and improving flexibility.
