Starting in September 2023, Andreas Bierwirth will become shareholder and CEO of Avcon Jet. He will lead the team along with Max Maruna, Roman Wiedenhofer and Michael Makarius. Alexander Vagacs will be the chairman and main shareholder of Avcon Jet.

Our third season of Antarctica missions came to a close today with the completion of our last flight out of the continent. The season began on December 4th, 2022, with several passenger trips planned. Each flight performed began in Cape Town, South Africa and ended at Wolf Fang’s Runway, Antarctica.

2022 was another great year for Avcon Jet.

In summary, over the course of the past year we completed 15,000 flights and 20,000 flight hours. While our work throughout the year never slowed, our busiest seasons of the year remained the summer and holiday months.
